We accept that it is the client who freely chooses and buys the materials (doors, parquet, baseboards, cabinets, etc.) that best suit his taste and needs in the warehouse or place he prefers. We take care of going to look for (with no additional cost) the material bought by the client where it is indicated to us.

If the client proposes to us, we can advise on the materials with which he can get the best result and also about the stores where he will find the better quality / price ratio.

It happens that when a customer faces the possibility of hiring a reform, he is overwhelmed by the huge supply offer of existing materials in the market. It's not just about looking for a specific look or style, it's also about the type of material. This happens, for example, with the doors. The difference between a sliding door (either recessed or overlapping) and a normal door is clear. Doubts can arise when we talk about its composition or its method of manufacture, in which case we find three types of door:

Solid wooden door: Recommended in the case of installing Castilian style doors, since the framing of knots is used as a decorative element. They are doors of great robustness and heavy. Also very sensitive to moisture, which can cause its arching.
Solid agglomerated wooden door: composed of agglomerated wood boards, DMF or both elements and wood veneers on both sides. Its weight ranges from 20 to 30 kg. Sometimes they carry longitudinal perforations inside to lighten weight. It is the type of door preferred in reforms for its value for money. Its high weight gives a feeling of robustness.
Hollow door: they are composed of a wooden frame and have their interior made of a cardboard honeycomb panel. They stand out for their lightness (which causes less suffering from the hardware), but penalize in robustness and thermo-acoustic insulation. They are covered on both sides by a veneer between 3 and 5 mm. Its weight, between 12 and 16 kg.

Very important also the doors size. The current doors have a standard height size of 2.03 mt, with widths of 62 cm, 72 cm, 82 cm and 92cm. This is important to keep in mind because the old doors have measures that are no longer standardized (although it can be ordered to another extent on request with overprice).
